What we are delivering
The NSW Government is delivering a $309 million redevelopment of Penrith Stadium to support Western Sydney’s growing population and improve the overall event experience.
The upgrade will lift the game-day experience for fans and players, while creating a high-quality venue for sport, live music and entertainment. It will meet growing demand for NRL and NRLW matches, attract more visitors to Western Sydney, and support local jobs during construction and operation.
Shaped by feedback from more than 3,000 fans, families and community members, the design is family-friendly and respects the stadium’s history and importance to the local area.
Infrastructure NSW is delivering the project in partnership with John Holland Group. Venues NSW will operate the stadium once construction is completed.
The stadium is expected to be ready for operations in 2027.
Built for Western Sydney
The Penrith Stadium project is a major investment in Western Sydney, delivering modern facilities, attracting major events, and creating new opportunities for the region.
The project is already supporting hundreds of local jobs during construction and will create new jobs once the stadium opens.
Designed for a growing community, the new stadium will continue to support local sports, attract major events and visitors, and drive ongoing economic and social benefits in Western Sydney.
