The Design
Populous, a global architecture firm, is leading the design of Penrith Stadium. The firm is known for designing major sport and entertainment venues around the world, including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Emirates Stadium in London, and the Sphere in Las Vegas.
For this project, Populous has partnered with Tyrrell Studio.
The design has been shaped by community feedback gathered in 2022 and 2024. It reimagines Penrith Stadium as a modern, multi-use venue for sport and entertainment, designed to better serve the needs of the community. The upgrade will:
· improve views and seating
· enhance food, drink and amenities on game day
· ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all users
· activate the precinct beyond event days.
